Below are four ads placed in a far east bay area weekly newspaper. The ads were run on the four weeks prior to the primary.

Even though we had a very active meetup in this city, unfortunately, we didn't end up polling significantly differently than the state average. With this in mind whatever local efforts in CA that are attempted for this campaign should go beyond our efforts.

Note that along with these ads we canvased numerous times weekly for a couple months prior to the primary, we distributed thousands of slim jims, dvds, etc, distributed hundreds of RP signs around the city, and held several RP corner and overpass rallies.

Note in the last ad we invited the community to meet us for lunch at a local restaurant to discuss RP. This was a tactic used by the Jefferson County, IA meetup, and they won their county. In retrospect I wish we has scheduled and advertised these lunches for months prior to the election.
