It looks like the IT department didn't program for more than $99,999,999.00 and thus that is as high as it will go. I'll bet they never planned on anything going higher than that.

I'd bet nothing would go higher than $10,000,000 on eBay, they probably just programmed for that many digits. If I'm purchasing or selling something of that value, I'm doing it in person.
 
What is a good question to ask the seller?
"Will the U.S. government guarantee the debt?"
