Thank you Brian4Liberty for keeping Tom Graves, Paul Broun, Richard Mourdock, and Jeff Flake on the list! Also, thanks a lot for considering and adding Tom McClintock to the list. Thanks a lot!

LIBERTY 2012!

In MO Brunner needs to be bumped up to a 4 or bring steelman to a 2. The liberty crew is getting behind brunner locally and he dropped into a STL ron paul office and talked about how much he liked ron paul. I had steelman as a teacher at MO state and she is a defense hawk. She also mentioned how we needed lower interest rates..... lolz

Thanks for the update from the ground. Nothing beats actually meeting the candidates in person. And hanging out at the Ron Paul campaign office says something.

I'll take your word for it.

I imagine those endorsing from out of state don't know the candidates as well as the locals.

Phyllis Schlafly and Jim Jordan endorsed Akin, and I like both of them, especially Schalfly. He was also endorsed by Bachmann and King, who are pretty conservative but not perfect obviously. The Huckabee endorsement scares me off though.

Coburn, Johnson, and FreedomWorks endorsed Brunner. On the other hand, the liberal Chamber of Commerce endorsed him as well.

Lee, TPE, and Susan B. Anthony List endorsed Steelman.

In short, the endorsements are so muddled it is best to disregard them.

My state is so screwed.

West Virginia has been known to elect some RINOs and liberals as their leaders. I can't help but say that I've been disappointed with Rep. McKinley. As most people know, I'm pretty lenient and generous to our legislators, allowing them to make mistakes sometimes. But Rep. McKinley claims to support spending cuts, but as far as I see, he hasn't at all. But don't lose hope...keep fighting for liberty...it will soon come to your state! :)

Mr. Brunner is great! Also, I'm just wondering, have you heard anything about Bob Parker and how his primary challenge to Rep. Emerson is going? I would really like to see Rep. Emerson sent to retirement.

IMO its not necessarily anti-liberty. It's stupid but not fundamentally or philosophically any more anti-liberty than our current system.
Even Herman Cain said it was to eventually transition to something like a fair tax.

I actually support a federal retail sales tax (of maybe 5% or so?) if we can get rid of the personal and business income taxes.

9-9-9 is a trillion times better than our current tax code. But if Mr. Cain hopes that it will be the permanent tax code of America, then I am seriously opposed to this idea. I support decreasing taxes, eliminating the death tax, lowering or eliminating the income tax (why should hard-working Americans be taxed to give money to people who refuse to work...not that all unemployed are like that, but some are), and replacing the entire tax code with either a fair or flat tax (essentially only taxes purchases and goods)! Supporting 9-9-9 should never be a disqualifying condition of a candidate, since it shows that the candidate agrees that our tax code needs to be overhauled. I would be cautious about giving too much money to this candidate though, and I would instead redirect my contributions to candidates that support the flat or fair tax.
