"We are impressed with the strength of the brand and expect that the quality Krispy Kreme products which we will offer to consumers in Turkey will be very much appreciated," Almana said in a statement.

Is this what Dr. Paul meant when he said Vietnam was "Westernized"? :D

On a related note, the doughnuts will be forbidden from wearing traditional Krispy Creme glaze while in government buildings.

what better way to fatten up the muslims, while at the same time, dumb them down?

There is a Krispy Kreme in Tokyo and they still have an hours line wait after a year in business. I have yet to have one from there.

When they opened the wait was 2 to 3 hours for a month.

Lines = Good in Japan

Turkey is not a muslim country. It is also part of Europe (but not the EU). They have all religions represented. I should know, I just got back from visiting. I saw mosques, synagogues, and churches. Turkey is a beautiful country with very warm and welcoming people.

There is a great deal of construction and development happening in Turkey, and is one of the major vacation spots for Israeli's.
