Good, they are more trouble then they are worth. All they're good for is getting the left wing mouth breathers up in a teaszy. I'd much rather the Silicon Valley entrepreneurs backing Paul then the Koch brothers.

Also is it too much to ask that people stop defining the Koch brothers as libertarian? Who am I kidding of course it is.

I never trusted the Kochs, and this is further proof of why.

The Kochs:
Support Monsanto
Drove Murray Rothbard from the libertarian party
Didn't support Ron Paul either time
Don't support Rand Paul now

The Kochs are just rent-seeking corporate oligarchs. No libertarian or genuine right winger should defend them even a little bit.

Not really good news, as Walker is definitely going to be the toughest competition for the nomination. We might not like the Kochs, but their money spends and will be very helpful to Walker and therefore harmful to Rand.

David Koch is what can be described as a "theoretical libertarian" in that he believes in the theories, but he doesn't get a lot of practice in when the rubber hits the road. Reason Magazine is his baby and while there is some good "theoretical" stuff in there, the authors tend to exhibit a similarly finicky nature when it comes to actually backing someone who is at least mostly libertarian, let alone all the way.

Personally, I'd prefer not to make enemies of the Koch brothers, but I don't count on them being anything more than a nuisance during the primary election.

In the article I read the Kochs said they were remaining neutral in the primary... this was the Kochs way of communicating to other big donors that if they want to push Walker through they are okay with it.

I hope Walker really had a change of heart on immigration but I just have a feeling he wont be any better than Rand Paul on the issue.
