Well now that's he's making $180,000/year I'm sure he will be able to start paying down his debt.
 
Don't worry, people will try and buy influence with him and many will contribute to his campaign.

I'm mostly confused as to why Bentivolio received the least amount of money from individuals (us). Massie is in a hugely safe Republican seat and yet I remember a money bomb was set up even after he won the primary. I didn't understand that tactic in terms of getting as many liberty candidates elected.

I know Bentivolio has done nothing to prove himself but you have to have a tiny bit of faith that liberty candidates will follow through on their words especially when they have a good chance of winning. I didn't expect the "only Ron Paul" people to support Bentivolio but I didn't think there was a lot of support for him given the unique circumstances.

Bentivolio is going to get a serious primary. He needs to start raising cash and needs our help otherwise he will be gone.

He only made it because he was the only one on the ballot after McCotter had to pull out. Establishment won't make that mistake next time and will have others on the ballot and financed.

There had been inside fighting in the campaign from early on and Kerry didn't know how to handle it. The original campaign manager was just some opportunist lawyer that joined prior to the McCotter fiasco, quit, then came back on when it was obvious that Kerry had a great chance. Also, volunteers that helped with materials (out of their own biz's pockets) were in constant battles with establishment sources and Kerry's CM was the one that kept the water muddy while also shielding him from the media. Not saying the guy was necessarily bad, he just wasn't very sharp nor was he on our wavelength. From the get-go, Kerry didn't seem ready for the federal level, maybe just a run at a state seat. That said, I trust Kerry and know he's in good hands down there.

The upside was that in the final week or two of the campaign they dumped the old CM and went with one of Gingrich's guys that helped down the final stretch. This other guy finally got a taste of what us Paul folk have gone through in the media over the years.
 
An older political tie in the area up there told me he thinks Cassis is going to primary Kerry again. It's just pure speculation, no substance but I wouldn't put it past her.

Matt is sort of right, that money should start pouring in from those wishing to give influence, and that district once they get to know Kerry and his conservative approach should start throwin in. That district has alot of repub money floating around.

Either way, we need Kerry to get out into the public sphere and speaking more and posting his votes on facebook like he said he would once in office.

Can't wait, this is sure to start a brushfire of liberty locally there.

If by February he is hurting for funds, let's moneybomb

That would probably be the best thing for him, actually. She hurt her reputation a lot with the failed write-in campaign.
