Kentucky 'anti trans' bill veto overridden

Kentucky basically just said, 'okay. that's enough crazy.'

From what I see in healthcare it's gone a bit silly. We now have to offer disclaimers in our discharge info packets for things like urinary tract infections because we (obviously) have to treat based on your physical gender. Apparently, there are differences in anatomy between males and females (Who knew?!). But there's a disclaimer now that says something like, 'we understand that gender is a spectrum'. Like WTF?

You cannot be both scientifically correct and politically correct on this.

Nice to see some lawmakers that have some common sense. If only it were possible to apply it to the entire country.

On the one hand, it kinda sucks that laws like this are even contemplated. Even just a few decades ago if the topic came up, most people would just be like, 'Bro, you're weird' and that would be the end of it. Good ol' social ostracization was the only 'law' necessary to keep things from going full retard. But, as we've completely abandoned our senses, laws like this have, and will continue, to fill the void.

Am I missing something? It says it's an LGTBQ bill, but isn't it just a T bill??

I couldn't come up with a good title though because 'anti transgender' is typical MSM-packaging-a-narrative-into-the-headline. Late at night, I just threw some letters in there so people would have some idea what the thread was about. At first I just had "kentucky bill veto overridden" but that seemed way too broad. No offense intended to normal gay people.

Teh Collins will probably make a better thread in a bit anyway, and the discussion should move there.

(ah you're right, you can edit it, but it won't change thread titles after a while)
