I created a facebook group that encourages Rand Paul supporters to respond to the 23 Senators on September 23 by donating 2.3 times as much to Kentucky Fight as in the previous money bomb.

Funny how the math works out. Rand received $433,509 in the previous money bomb. Multiply that by 2.3, and you have a million dollars!

This is not just about one Senate race. This is an opening skirmish in Ron Paul's 2012 presidential run. If we raise impressive amounts of money early, Rand Paul gets media attention and name recognition. If Rand Paul wins the election, Ron and Rand will both get tremendous media attention in 2011 and 2012. The battle for the White House begins now!

I'm not sure we'll raise 1m on that day, but I'm fairly confident we'll pull in over 1m total because of the 23rd.

I think they're expecting up to 10,000 people at the Tea Party on the 5th and Rand will be speaking there. If we really get that many people, and every one of them hears of the NRSC fundraiser and KentuckyFight.com, I'd guess there's at least $100,000 in that crowd just waiting to be donated.
