If you want to understand the real reasons why your once-great country is crumbling around your ears -- early-onset-dementia President, job-exportation, economic-collapse, doomsday-virus, vax mandates, central-bank digital currency, absolute financial surveillance, etc. etc. -- then start by looking at Guantanamo Bay.
Even Guantanamo Bay is a symptom of a deeper spiritual sickness: the unshakable conviction among countless "Christian" conservatives that there is no social ill that cannot be solved with more severe punishments, longer sentences, more police, more military, more laws and policies, and more rigorous enforcement of laws. Of course, they want a "small" government, where by "small" they mean, keep all branches of the government that have to do with punishment and enforcement, and dissolve all the others. These are the rah-rah "patriots" who apparently believe America can do no wrong so long as she does it in the name of the imaginary "War on Terror", that is, War of Terror.
I don't blame any individual American for the 9/11 attacks, I don't blame any individual American for the various government abuses of power that followed, including the Patriot Act, National Defense Authorization Act, Military Commissions Act, and so on. But what I do blame Americans generally for is not holding to the values that, despite all government indoctrination and every other effort of the God-hating Marxist globalists, has not been stamped out -- Americans broadly knew that it was wrong to roll back the basic tenets of the Bill of Rights. They may not have understood enough about DC to be able to stop it, but they knew enough to oppose it in neighborly discussions around the picnic table. Instead, what we saw was a large segment of the American public (mostly on the right!) became locked into a virtue-signaling competition to prove who was willing to support more outrageously anti-American policies in the name of "fighting Terror." In the post-9/11 world, the few dissenting voices to the systematic dismantling of the American Constitution have mostly come from the Left.
Shame on you, American conservatives! Shame on the American right! Shame, unedurable shame! How dare you abandon the principles that our founding fathers bled and died to inscribe into the very foundations of our country at the first sign of a few goatherds commandeering commercial airliners -- supposing that that ever did, indeed, happen. Shame on your cowardice! Shame on your hypocrisy and self-righteousness! Shame on your addiction to the plush comforts of modern suburbia! You are so allergic to the slightest disturbance to your "American dream" that you were willing to sacrifice everything that makes America, America! You bunch of turncoats turned your backs and ran at the first sign of bad weather, forget enemy troops or foreign invaders! You didn't want to put on a rain-slick because it would be uncomfortable and for that petty inconvenience you betrayed every value that defines what it even means to be an American versus a boot-licking Chinese Communist. In your hearts, you are boot-licking Chinese Communists, wrapping yourselves in the American flag so you can claim your "freedom".
Aside from a perennial post on 9/11 and occasional, restrained discussions on this topic, I have largely held my tongue these past 20 years, despite the fact that every shred of my own personal life has been materially devastated by the very laws and policies that were instituted post-9/11. I have patiently waited for the bad fruits of your evil deeds to come into season so that your lies would finally be irrefutably exposed. The most rock-headed dolt can plainly see that nothing good whatsoever has come out of these two decades of the US government's war, not on Terror, but on Americans. Trillions of dollars of hard American work have been blown up in the deserts of Iraq and Afghanistan. For what?! For nothing but an egotistical pissing contest because the boys in camo like to blow shit up.
The ever-cunning Marxist globalists have carefully anticipated this very phenomenon and they have used it to dismantle the entire conservative base and right-wing within the United States. The R-swamp needs a scapegoat to blame for their abject failures and so they have chosen to lay it all on Trump. Trump destroyed the right and he continues to destroy it with Q/MAGA/etc. Even if Trump were trying to dismantle the right, he could not do a thousandth of the damage that was done by the neoCONs who infiltrated the right-wing and demolished it from within with explosives charges, like it was WTC7. You have nobody to blame but yourselves. I didn't start waking up to the CON until 2008-ish, but for these past 13 years, I have stood shoulder-to-shoulder with anyone on the right or libertarian (small-l) or even the left who will oppose the War of Terror. It takes courage to stand for what is right and you will pay for it, because the wicked spirits in the heavenly realms will make damn sure of it.
Grow a pair! Have some moral courage! Any idiot can have "courage" to cheerlead the boys blowing shit up overseas. That's not courage, that's idiocy. You were wrong to institute Patriot Act, NDAA, MCA and blow trillions of dollars on pointless foreign military adventures. We all make mistakes. I was hook-line-and-sinker for a good 7 years after 9/11, I even considered joining the service for a while. But the worst thing you can do after making a mistake is doubling down on it, out of pride. You don't even have to admit you made a mistake to anybody else, just stop supporting this evil in your heart. Stop speaking up on its behalf. Stop cheerleading the forces of evil! Look at the world with true moral vision! Of course, I can point to the Bible, but you don't even have to start with that, just start with basic common-sense and move on to the rest later!
