Nice way to connect with the people. Granted, it doesn't get to everyone and there's only so much one person can do, but it'll be evident that Amash at least made an effort to talk to everyday people to get their opinion. Provided none of them are plants, since that's not too uncommon.

Supporting Amash and Massie has been the best money I have ever spent, worth every penny.

I see another stop in Battle Creek there. And he was just there recently too.

I can't see how that would be in his district. Does someone from there know for sure if it somehow is, or why he's including it on this tour if not?

I'm tempted to speculate that he might have a reason for wanting to get his face out there in other parts of the state. But maybe there's a more boring explanation.

Battle Creek was redistricted into his district.

Here's a map of his district:

from facebook:

What an amazing day. I made six stops across the district to hear from the people I represent on the potential use of U.S. military force in ‪#‎Syria‬. I heard from concerned citizens, from veterans of our Armed Forces, from military spouses—I heard from hundreds of people—and almost unanimously, the people of ‪#‎MI03‬ said they do not support military action.

Nobody condones the crimes that are being committed in Syria by any of the sides, but I can't ask you to put your loved ones potentially in harm's way—and to expend more American resources—with such unclear objectives, an incoherent strategy, and no compelling U.S. interest. I look forward to hearing from more of you as I make five more stops across #MI03 on Wednesday.
