Greetings,
My position is that the management team is failing. I posted my disappointment here and at my Meet-Up group. But the purpose of this post is not to go into that.
One of my Meet-Up group colleges was so offended by my criticism of HQ's leadership skills and my disappointment at our lose yesterday that; he conducted a personal attack on me. I am by no means a thin skinned individual unable to take criticism when it is deserved. I am unwilling to spend time with those who harbor an extremist view of Dr. Paul and his team.
The main point is HQ needs to communicate their plans with each individual in the grass roots effort. HQ may think that a top down management exist but, it does not. Yes their are those who think they are in some kind of power position because they have been with the campaign since the beginning. They tend to alienate new comers. No one really is lead by them. Grass roots is flat managed by each and every member of the campaign. If a channel for communicating to the troops exist, it does not work. The eventual cost will be the lose of the grass roots force and the election.
I will still support Dr. Paul because I understand his message. Many do not. I will contribute. I will act as a lone wolf and will sometimes help other MeetUp groups in need. I still believe.
I am confident that what happened to me today is happening to others. Swift and decisive action is needed by HQ to save this campaign. A direct bridge must be built between Ron and the activist. No one likes a middle man and good leaders are very hard to find.
