My Legislative Agenda for the 84th Session

Below are the bills my staff and I filed yesterday, which was the first day of early filing. As we gear up for the 84th Legislative Session, bills will continue to be filed. It’s my honor to serve the people of House District 92.

Prevents doctors and dentists from having to be a part of the association in order to get professional liability insurance
House Bill 137
Prevents peace officer organizations from lobbying with state funds

Allows public notices to be posted on the comptroller’s website ​
​​House Bill 142
Ends red light cameras in Texas
House Bill 172
Clears up the unreasonable patchwork of laws in the state that preempts further passage of local laws regarding knives, stun guns and personal defense sprays
House Bill 195
​Allows for the lawful carrying of firearms and removes the requirement of a permit to carry a firearm​
House Bill 209​
​​Ends in-state college tuition for illegal immigrants and undocumented immigrants
