BB&t CEO retired on the 31st. He is the CEO who donated money to universities only if they taught "Atlas Shrugged". Can we recruit him to help BJ Lawson out in 2010 or our liberty movement?

Excerpt-
More than 25 universities, including NC State and UNC-Charlotte, got a similar donation from the Winston-Salem-based BB&T Foundation. At most of the schools, the donation has come with several stipulations — universities have to set up a course of study focusing on the ideas of philosopher and author Ayn Rand, and make Rand’s book, Atlas Shrugged, required reading.

Colfax - The Tarheel Triad Council Inc. chapter of the Girls Scouts said today that it has received an unrestricted gift of $250,000 from BB&T Corp. in honor of Betty and John Allison.
John Allison is retiring as the bank's chief executive next Wednesday and as its chairman on Dec. 31, 2009. Betty Allison, his wife, has been a longtime Girl Scout adviser, supporter and leader.

can someone humor me and comment on why this guy retired or how we can get peter schiff and him in the same room

He also spoke out strongly against the TARP bailout - since BB&T was a healthy bank and didn't get caught up in the subprime mess. ... then... if I remember correctly, BB&T got a nice chunk of the bailout.

His departure might have something to do with that. ?
