The one thing you can always count on with minutemen

It's my understanding that Gilchrist sold out some time ago. I can't remember who he supported in the presidential election, but it wasn't good. I do remember that.

I culled this one comment out from the article, because I know some people who are Minutemen. There are even some who are members of this forum and I can say that I haven't known more honorable, patriotic, genuine liberty-loving Americans than they. Frankly, I applaud them.

And that is my 2 cents.

OP-the people you slander as "nativists" are in many cases sympathetic to the limited government cause. "Nativist", in my experience, is a word left-liberals made up to insult people who don't agree with allowing illegal aliens free access across the border. This issue tends divides libertarians and conservatives as well, and being insulting doesn't help your case.

I can say this now that I am no longer a member of the MCDC executive council -CA Chapter.....Gilchrist has a screw loose. And for the record, the Minuteman Project, run by Gilchrist, and the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps. run by Chris Simcox who is a Ron Paul Republican and running for Senate against McCain - are two different organizations.

Gilchrist and Simcox founded the MM together but quickly parted ways.
