Absolutely. She is the Green Party candidate. I've never met a Green Party candidate who wasn't as bad as the average Democrat. I remember a Green Party candidate who was horrible on even economic issue. So I tried to find common ground. I asked him if he supported marijuana decriminalization. He said he was against it. I gave up on trying to communicate with him after that.

Obama is really more of a Fascist than a Communist.

Every Socialist I've known have been anti-Fascist. For some reason Socialists and Communist flock to Obama.

Hugo Chavez to Obama: I'd vote for you, and you for me

Reuters
Sept. 30, 2012

* Both men seeking re-election in imminent ballots

* Socialist Chavez has kind words for U.S. leader

* Political ties remain strained despite oil trade

CARACAS, Sept 30 (Reuters) - With both presidents facing tight re-election fights, Venezuela's Hugo Chavez gave a surprise endorsement to Barack Obama on Sunday - and said the U.S. leader no doubt felt the same.

"I hope this doesn't harm Obama, but if I was from the United States, I'd vote for Obama," the socialist Chavez said of a man he first reached out to in 2009 but to whom he has since generally been insulting.

Chavez is running for a new six-year term against opposition challenger Henrique Capriles, while Obama seeks re-election in November against Republican candidate Mitt Romney. Venezuela's election is next weekend.

"Obama is a good guy ... I think that if Obama was from Barlovento or some Caracas neighborhood, he'd vote for Chavez," the president told state TV, referring to a poor coastal town known for the African roots of its population.

Supermodel Elle Macpherson Loves Obama: 'I’m Socialist - What Do You Expect?'

News Busters
March 17, 2012

Supermodel Elle Macpherson told shock jock Howard Stern Tuesday that she's pulling for Barack Obama to be reelected.

"I’m living in London and I’m socialist," she told her host. "What do you expect?"

yes... like ralph nader she pulls votes from the reigning Democrat of the hour
and she is more honest about things. y'all GOTO at least half of AF's postings...

I watched most of the debate last night and it was clear Jill doesn't understand The Free Market at all AND she believes Govt IS the answer. You can cross her off the list. Rocky needs to be crossed off as well cause he's also clueless. Virgil was the best.

Heh, and it's a shame, as I am a conservationist, but there is no room for me in the Green Party.

At least Gary brought them back to earth when he said "Free has a Cost".

Virgil's getting my vote.

He's a pro drug war zealot. No dice.

Wrong.

War on Drugs has abused Bill of Rights .
Goode adopted the Republican Liberty Caucus Position Statement:

As adopted by the General Membership of the Republican Liberty Caucus at its Biannual Meeting held December 8, 2000.
WHEREAS libertarian Republicans believe in limited government, individual freedom and personal responsibility;
WHEREAS we believe that government has no money nor power not derived from the consent of the people;
WHEREAS we believe that people have the right to keep the fruits of their labor; and
WHEREAS we believe in upholding the US Constitution as the supreme law of the land;

BE IT RESOLVED that the Republican Liberty Caucus endorses the following [among its] principles:
While recognizing the harm that drug abuse causes society, we also recognize that government drug policy has been ineffective and has led to frightening abuses of the Bill of Rights which could affect the personal freedom of any American. We, therefore, support alternatives to the War on Drugs.
Per the tenth amendment to the US Constitution, matters such as drugs should be handled at the state or personal level.
All laws which give license to violate the Bill of Rights should be repealed.

That's what I have been telling you guys, and still some people are considering her. Read her website, she is about as anti free market as you can get. I do agree with her on foreign policy and ending Bank of America though.

The differences between her and Obama seem pretty minor to me. But yeah, she manages to be even worse.

There are plenty of people here who have nothing but hostility for the free-market. You'll probably need to find a different argument.

Those people should really find a different site. I can understand some Johnson supporters here as he at least talks about free market. But Stein is one of those people who care about the issues but have no understandin in how to fix them and really shouldn't be in politics until she gets an education.

It doesn't surprise me that there are many budding Greens on this forum. Remember RP drew in people from the occupy movement attracted to Ron's civil liberties positions. It's just that most of us come from an economic viewpoint of being true free marketers as to why we're here. I was always a Republican, I just shifted from a neocon to a libertarian Ron Paul Republican after examining things and doing some reading which Ron has guided us all to do. So yeah free college and socialism will appeal to many of the people on these forums.

All of those things are better than the corporatist system we have setup today. If we diverted our overseas military spending and corporate subsidies into the programs that she is outlining, we would be much better off than we are now.

I disagree. Her economic policies will ruin any benefits from her foreign policy. Adding more bs regulations is just going to make it more difficult for people to get jobs a prosper. Same goes with raising the minimum wage which I believe she wants to do. She clearly does not understand that that would make it more difficult for people to find jobs and will just end up with more unemployment benefits and food stamps, etc.

Socialism sucks dude, seriously.

He is also against online poker. He supported the UIGEA. Virgil Goode does not have libertarian values.
He also wants a moratorium on immigration. He's just an old crank. The constitution party doesn't seem to have read the constitution, the bill of rights, or the declaration of independence with a platform like this.
