I'm still skeptical of all this. Even if the bill does create 6 camps across the country, I expect the government to build such camps in case of disasters like Katrina. And there's no way those plastic things are coffins. I think I've seen those, aren't they used as part of the sewage system? Why would they build coffins that hold 3-4 people instead of just digging mass graves?

Do you expect these camps will be used to "contain" people (like the superdome was used)? If that is the kind of "help" they offer... no thanks.

The plastic "things" have a two fold purpose... first, they are being called "coffin liners"... second, they may be used as coffins if/when some sort of pandemic breaks out.

The camps aren't for people who lost their homes. There were some 5,000 people arrested in New Orleans and held for months in prison for the crime of staying in their homes to protect their property and animals. Some of those people had guns, which were of course confiscated whenever found by authorities searching door to door to disarm the population to prevent them from hurting themselves.

New Orleans was a government made disaster - Katrina hit Mississippi. A federal judge found the Corp of Engineers responsible for the New Orleans disaster for building the tanker superhighway straight into town to benefit big oil. Literally hundreds of private buses, maybe thousands, full of water and food were turned away from New Orleans by the government in the first days so the people could wait comfortably in the Superdome squalor for chartered buses to drive down from Virginia per their federal evacuation contract - even though the contractor had no buses which made it take awhile.

Wow. Check it out at 10:45-11:40. Cohen blames Ventura for creating a situation that he claims threatens harm to people, but then Cohen himself appears to threaten to hurt people if Ventura continues. Let me explain. Cohen changes his wording from “should someone get hurt as a result of …” to “I would hate to see someone get hurt as a result of …”; the latter being a notorious wording of a veiled threat.

This is the perfectly typical mob mentality of common bureaucratic doubletalk:
“If you continue to defy us, WE will do the hurting/attacking, but it will be YOUR fault”.
If they were more honest, they might state it something like this:
“If you continue to defy us, people will get hurt; but even though it will be because WE will be hurting them/you, we will blame it on you.”

As instigators will be instigators, they will typically reverse the blame away from themselves.
