Frankly, I can care less what Jay Carney states... he's just a propaganda mouthpiece for dumbass America.
The only thing you need to know is, ALL these cowards in Executive Branch, State Depart, etc, wouldn't think twice about spending your tax dollars or putting US all further in debt to protect their egregious lame asses.
Washington DC has spent recklessly and with impunity when it comes to these aristocrats in government or their classified/covert counterparts. State Department's budget was $51 BILLION , and that's without counting the supplemental funds during that year. There's also cash flowing in from OCO. These criminals in all branches are moving money around from departments and branches to launder the trail to other organizations/operations.
Again, Congressman Sherman(D-CA) revealed the DHS secretly funneled $1 Billion plus to NATO/Saudis/Bahrainians/UAE in arming terrorists/rebels in Libya to overthrow the country. Gottta a BILLION lying around? Here ya go... additionally, there's $80-85 Billion spent each year on classified .gov free spending, much of it on failed projects. look at the millions thrown away just to Karzai office. Billions missing in Iraq, wich just seems to be now funding other global hotspots.
