Exciting news! We have a new syndicator, and it's a locally-based network: Genesis Communications (GCN)! We switch from Premiere on Aug. 8th

For those who don't know, Lewis has a MN based nationally syndicated radio show (I get the rebroadcast here in OR) and he is a pro-Paul, pro-Austrian, anti-interventionist conservative turned conservative-libertarian with a largely conservative audience. Free podcasts with no commercials can be downloaded here:

GCN is the the network that carries Alex Jones and Peter Schiff.

I don't listen to him that often but he's definitely an ally. Here's a sample clip:

Bump. This is a great show. He is always praising Ron Paul and Mises. He has an Iphone and I think an android app now too. you can also listen for free on his website.

I've listened to Lewis enough to observe that he is not actively supporting RP in any meaningful way. He refers to RP as a concept, not as a person running for office. He is carrying water for Bachmann big-time and will support the eventual neo-con nominee.

I think that Lewis is controlled opposition. But that doesn't prevent me from listening to him.

I disagree. He has a lot of support for Bachmann because they are friends. He has indicated recently that he may end up voting for RP. He also devoted considerable time to discussing how the media ignored RP after the straw poll.

I hope that I am wrong.

I have no faith in Lewis because he parrots the "Ron Paul can't win" talking points, which by itself, indicates that he is keeping bad company. He uses RP as a backdrop for his shtick of being a "libertarian" all the while carrying water for the worst of worst anti-libertarian neocons.

I'm not quite sure Mr. Lewis is liking it though. Because now his show is being listened to/called in to by all the AJ/conspiracy people. He has never been a tinfoil hat guy.

LoL

Hey, Mr. Lewis. You said last night that only Perry is willing to say that Social Security is a ponzi scheme and that even Dr. Paul is unwilling to say that.
Well, you are wrong sir. He just wasn't given a chance to say that in the debate.

eg:

@2:18 he calls fractional reserve banking is a ponzi scheme
@2:40 he says "everybody knows the social security system is a ponzi scheme"

I'm quite certain there are MANY examples of him saying just that, this was just the first one that came up when I searched for it.

If somebody here that uses twitter could twit that video and info to him, it would be much appreciated.

The best I can say of Jason Lewis is that he is a semi-flacid putz. Not hard enough to be a real libertarian, but limp enough to always tote the party line. Soft enough to be totally impotent.

@jasonlewisshow Dr. Paul did not say that alternative med. should be "licensed", but rather "legalized" he was against "licensing" #ronpaul

Actual quote from the debate:
There's no competition in medicine. Everybody is protected by licensing. And we should actually legalize alternative health care, allow people to practice what they want.
