Jason Lewis bashing the Gop for smear campaign against Ron Paul

I guess I'm wondering how much Iowan conservatives would listen to him.

Little if at all. He only has one affiliate station in Iowa (KILR) and that looks to be just a small town station near the Minnesota border. And it airs delayed at 11PM-2AM. So I would guess Iowans have never heard him except for the times when he subbed in for Rush. And he only filled in for Rush when he was just a local talker in the Twin Cities. I don't think he has filled in since he went national.

You can see where he broadcasts here: http://www.jasonlewisshow.com/jasonLewisShow.php

The Jason Lewis Show has a new home for syndication. Beginning August 8th, the program joins the Genesis Communications Network.
Known as “America’s Mr. Right,” Jason Lewis was recently selected as one of the top 25 talk hosts in the country by Newsmax Magazine and has been twice featured in ABC Radio’s “The Year in Talk.” He was also named as one of “The Heavy Hundred” most important talk show hosts in the nation by Talkers Magazine in 2011.
“I couldn’t be more thrilled to be joining the Genesis Communications Network,” Lewis told GCN News. “They are truly a company on the move hitting their stride. Moreover, it’s great to be joining a hometown team where I can just walk down the street and we can put our heads together to reach our goals. The timing couldn’t be better. It’s a great union, a great partnership.”

The Jason Lewis Show
, home of Beatle Bumper Fridays, deals with the serious issues of politics, economics, and cultural affairs, but Jason’s sense of humor brings a good deal of levity to the show. Lighter topics include sports, music and movies. And you’ll definitely hear plenty of Elvis and Beatles trivia during any given broadcast.
The Jason Lewis Show will keep the same time slot, airing weekdays from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. PST / 6:00 -9:00 p.m. EST.

As a school bus driver I used to listen to Hannity (for recon purposes) for 3 hours before Lewis would come on the radio. I only got to hear about 5 minutes of Jason Lewis on most days so I would enjoy working longer hours in order to shake the Hannity cobwebs out of my head.

I used to deliver pizzas in the 'cities when Jason Lewis was on in the afternoons on AM 1500, loved his show most of the time.

Is it just me, or did anyone else get weird vibe out of part 2? As if Romney is going easy on Paul in the hopes to ask him to be his VP?

I know that sounds strange...and I don't see Paul accepting...but I could almost see Romney and the GOP oligarchy mulling that idea over so we don't cause a brokered convention.

EDIT: And to add further to the crazy idea...Paul has been strangely easy on Romney as well. Called Romney "a good guy" on Leno...and absolutely no serial hypocrisy ads: Romney edition running in New Hampshire like I would want to see.

I think it's pretty likely that if Romney wins, he's not going to consider Ron Paul....considering how many delegates Ron Paul gets though...Rand Paul could DEFINITELY be on the short list of VP candidates. It would be an incredibly shrewd and brilliant move if he did so.
