i keep on mulling over a quixotic run for high public office, as i now look around at an expanding field of contenders...

scott brown will most likely run in this special election. deval patrick has chosen a very loyal aide of his as our

interum senator on the condition that the interum senator NOT be a candidate in the special election. i had hoped

a news cycle would have been set off by the choise of barney frank. no such luck. ole scott brown has an uphill

climb and if he wins this one by 2% of the vote, he has to run for re-election in 2014 anyway. is this like a repeat of

2010 and 2012 if he wins the 2013 special election but looses the fall of 2014 general election? i am trying to look

ahead to when i can feel comfortable about running inside a very crowded field. sec' of state john kerry retires in '16?
