New Hampshire would have been a tougher sell than Iowa. I'm holding off on any obituaries until after all the precincts report in, but if Rand doesn't pull this out, all other outcomes will be essentially equal, thus precluding my participation in the general election apart from a 3rd party protest vote.

Running as a Democrat would be equally futile because of Rand's economic viewpoints, and 3rd party candidates never win the presidency, EVER. The problem isn't the party, the problem is the country.

Old people control the Democratic party as well, they control the entire narrative, they hold all the important jobs. Change comes when generations die off. Personally if I had anything to say on the matter, anyone too old to be drafted into the military should not be allowed to vote, same for anyone collecting social security. Universal suffrage is an abomination, rightly recognized by Plato as the eventual downfall of Athens. We're next if we don't get control of things.

I'm focused on Rubio catching up with Donald Trump. If Donald Trump falls to third then his support will drop. He'll lose momentum.

I must say, should I ever move to the US, Iowa is not a place I'd look at. Kentucky certainly would be.
