A couple of days ago I was thinking about all the news clips, articles, etc. being put out to discredit Ron Paul and his supporters. This is going to sound really crazy, but I had this question pop into my mind... "Does it seem like the MSM is trying to help Dr. Paul?". The reason I thought about this is that the media bias has been so obvious (at least to those of us who actually study what's going on), that it seemed to me that it was like a parent telling their teenage son or daughter over and over to not listen to music style A or to not associate with group B. Basically, that the more you tell someone not to do something, the better chance they'll do exactly what you're telling them not to do.
Example: The whole "Don't vote for Ron Paul, he's a crazy conspiracy theorist and an extremist who hates Black people and gays!" mantra while his poll numbers continue to rise and his support grows.
However, I also thought about the fact that many people in the United States are still "zombies" when it comes to being politically informed, so they actually believe everything they hear on the news.
I was just curious to see what you all thought about this idea.
