Is the MSM coming to the point of making people LIKE Ron Paul?

A couple of days ago I was thinking about all the news clips, articles, etc. being put out to discredit Ron Paul and his supporters. This is going to sound really crazy, but I had this question pop into my mind... "Does it seem like the MSM is trying to help Dr. Paul?". The reason I thought about this is that the media bias has been so obvious (at least to those of us who actually study what's going on), that it seemed to me that it was like a parent telling their teenage son or daughter over and over to not listen to music style A or to not associate with group B. Basically, that the more you tell someone not to do something, the better chance they'll do exactly what you're telling them not to do.

Example: The whole "Don't vote for Ron Paul, he's a crazy conspiracy theorist and an extremist who hates Black people and gays!" mantra while his poll numbers continue to rise and his support grows.

However, I also thought about the fact that many people in the United States are still "zombies" when it comes to being politically informed, so they actually believe everything they hear on the news.

I was just curious to see what you all thought about this idea.

I've had the idea that the media isn't trusted by more than 60% of the people. The media attempted to keep Dr. Paul out of the spotlight and when it was pointed out, I'm pretty sure people noticed. Now with them doing everything and anything they can to keep people from voting for Dr. Paul, people are naturally wondering why. I would suspect, the medial is shooting itself in the foot, by making such a big deal out of Ron Paul doing well. It's kind of like a case of "methinks thou dost protest too much".

Dr.3d: That's basically how I feel about it. Like I said, I think that the "Does it seem like the MSM is trying to help Dr. Paul?" question came about because the media's bias seems so out in the open to me. It's like a slap in the face!

I think this may be the beginning of the media realizing the people no longer believe them and have caught on to their methods of manipulation. I don't think it is a coincidence that we are seeing attempts to regulate and censor the internets at ths time.

I'm pretty sure there are many who think that way too. I know I do.

Good point.

When the media promotes "audit the federal reserve" on a daily basis, then they will be helping. Until then, the self important media shills are doing everything in their power to control society.

And from the looks of it, they are failing big time.
