Just this week dozens if not hundreds of children/civilians have been in killed as a result of US initiated wars in Iraq/Afghanistan and thousands of innocent children/civilians have been killed from drone attacks ordered by SWC Obama in recent times. But oddly Obama puppet masters with their media surrogates have decided to highlight the kidnapping of girls in Africa by some local gang. Why this local tragedy out of many bigger ongoing tragedies in which America is far far more intimately involved has been made focus of US news media at this time?

Is it to distract public attention/news coverage from recently announced House investigation of Benghazi attacks that kllled US ambassador and other Americans on 9/11 of 2012? Or SWC droneking team really cares about plight of people in every remote corner of the world?

Allen West: Focus on Boko Haram Is Obama Ploy to Distract from Benghazi

by Evan McMurry | 10:51 am, May 12th, 2014
Allen West (R-FL) wrote in a blog post Monday morning that the focus on Boko Haram, which now includes a hashtag campaign spurred by First Lady Michelle Obama, is a “wag the dog” moment by the Obama administratioinitiated n meant to distract attention from the upcoming Benghazi select committee.

“Are we witnessing an Obama ‘Wag the Dog’ moment with Boko Haram in Nigeria?” West asked rhetorically. “I say yes.” (West also noted the suspicious timing of the original movie hitting theaters just before the scandal involving Monica Lewinsky, combined with her reemergence last week; “I digress,” he wrote, “or maybe not.”)

Michelle Obama's #BringBackOurGirls Message Will Remind You Of Drone Horror

The Huffington Post UK

First Lady Michelle Obama backed efforts to rescue more than 270 teenage girls who had been abducted by the Boko Haram terrorist group last month, posting a photo on Twitter holding up a sign reading: "#BringBackOurGirls".

Obama's support for the hashtag campaign supporting efforts to rescue the girls in Nigeria was wittily inverted on Twitter by user Kai Holloway to make a sobering point about US drone strikes around the world.

This comes after a study in 2012 found that the CIA's drone campaign, which has escalated under Obama, "terrorises men, women and children" in north-west Pakistan "twenty-four hours a day".
The report, by Stanford University and New York University undermined US government's claims that drone strikes in Pakistan make America safer as it found that only very few of the intended targets are killed and instead resulted in high civilian casualties, including 176 children.

yeah this and North Korea Kim's " racial " remarks for the desired " absolutely unacceptable " reaction from the U.S. populess.

basketball team owner fiasco was testing the waters of public sentiment.

that more people have died at the hands of U.S. gov't in the past 50 years than . . . anyone have the numbers ?

Nice post enhanced_deficit

see how they play and slight of hand

have said this before, Obama was SELECTED for his name and skin tone, so as to make the planned foreign policy palatable and acceptable to the populess

we know that the plans to topple Syria and Libya and several other nations ( See YouTube Gen. Wesley Clark on Amy Goodman ) go back to at least 2002 and the plan to go into no less than 30 countries in Africa soon after. . .

could you imagine dubya trying to pull that one off ? ? ? ! ! !

nope, that wasn't gonna happen.

he couldn't use the n word, but . . .

public sentiment and all

I'm pretty convinced this whole kidnapped "girls" thing is a complete fabrication. The pics of the "girls" look like 25 year old women, not school kids. Kony 2012 didn't catch on so this is the next attempt to push a false narrative to justify interventionism and resource theft in the region. It's embarrassing what passes for news and people eat it up.

It looks like a mixture to me, which would fit their m.o.. I don't think it's a fabrication, but the story is actually considerably different than the main one that was initially pushed. I have mentioned it elsewhere, but this group has done this before... and no one cared. Hell, even this time it was not news until some time after the fact.

Go ahead and Google "Boko Haram photos". The victims --- and there are plenty to go around --- don't look like what the media is pushing.

Attacks by Islamist group Boko Haram in Nigeria’s restive northeast have killed more than 1,200 people since May, when a state of emergency was declared in the region, the United Nations said Monday.

That was LAST May.

Want to really throw up in your mouth?

Interesting argument. I believe you referred to this news out og NK, reportedly those statements were made by a factory worker in North Korea but those could not have been published in state run paper without state's nod.

North Korea’s racist rant against ‘wicked black monkey’ Obama

Exggerating/tailoring/changing/fabricating "news" is not out of realm of possibility for such political actors, this shocking shift even in generally lagging US public opinion got to have some basis:

Most Americans see Obama as Dishonest, Untrustworthy
