I've been looking to buy silver/gold, and was wondering if:

hxxps://online.kitco.com/bullion/completelist_USD.html

is a reliable source to purchase precious metals from? Thanks :)

I've bought a couple times from them. Haven't had a problem. Their shipping is a flat $30 last time I checked, so the more you buy the better you come out.

I've bought from them once and I use their site for information.

I do not know about their pooled accounts - I'm weary of any PM pooled account.

be more specific what you are buying. I never have a one stop shop.

I use eBay, bulliondirect, jhmint, apmex, and a few others.

I've never bought or sold with them, but they have the best charts I've seen for live tracking of precious metals. Not to mention historic price charts too.

I would not buy from them. I am a member of their forum and have been since 2001. They are currently under investigation in Canada. I think you could buy from them and you would get your metal. There have been a lot of write ups about their pooled account and most say they do not hold your metal at all as they give out no serial numbers.

My main reason I would stay away is because I think they are part of gold and silver price suppression. They are always writing articles saying how gold is high and due to come down and they have done this since gold hit 400 an oz. I don't like them or trust them - that said if you ordered from them I think you would get your metal. IMO go to AMPEX very good company and they treat their customers right. Never heard a complaint about AMPEX

I have never used Kitco, for the sole reason that I always seem to find better prices elsewhere.

Yeah, APMEX is really nice, but you pay a premium for their reputation.

If you want a company that is right up there with them, but better prices, try Provident.

Good luck to you,
Paul
