Just looked up the different political/economical philosophies, and found out that I am a Minarchist.

I classified myself as a minarchist for a couple months... Was the last step before converting to total anarchy.

Some of the questions I didn't fully have a developed position on, so if it asked "would you abolish xyz" I went with NO - for no other reason than basing it on innocent until guilty kind of. Although I have a feeling that once I were to dog into those issues, they might be as horrendous as the ones I have already heard about.

It really freaked me out to see Constitutionalist listed as a fringe group on that ACLU website the other day. I know there's nothing wrong with having an informed opinion about things, or trying to learn more about things, but it is scary how a label with a negative connotation can be slapped on ANYONE and people will just assume you are a bad guy. And then nobody will listen to anything you have to say if you get in trouble for it, is my guess. Is that what happened to those people in Waco? Gah!

Did anyone else take the quiz on the above link?

Mine was surprising. It came out at a 92

Anyone else?

The state is inherently evil, immoral, and will always abuse any power given to it.

Personally I think it's rather silly to think we can entrust the government with the protection of our life or property. Could you think of any institution less trustworthy?

I know, I'll put the job of protecting me, my property, and my family in the hands of an entity that has murderer countless millions throughout history. An entity that derives all its funding through robbing those in "protects". An entity whose authority comes not through mutual trade and agreement, but brute force.

Idk I think anarchy might work in a small tribal type group, but in a country with millions, it would be chaos.

I think it'd be even more orderly in a "country" of millions. The market provides more order than any government ever could. The government just gives us a sense of order because they threaten to punish us if we step out of line.

Anarchy sounds good, but I don't know if it is practical. You can discuss it all you want, but so far I don't know of a country that has succeeded on it.
