I have turned everyone around me into a "radical"

The last 24 hours have shown me that years of not shutting up are really getting to some of the last people I would imagine it would get to.

The brother in law of one of my best friends has been calling me a lunatic since 2007 and has mocked Ron without mercy anytime he is around me. He contacted me last night and I could tell in his voice that something was not right. After a few minutes he confessed that he started looking more into Ron and that he is ashamed for not taking this all seriously before now. This guy is a very big name in my county and owns numerous trailer park properties (one with over 500 trailers). He wants to come by this afternoon to discuss how to make banners and put them up on all of his properties.

A real sweetheart of a guy who I have known for several years had to go to the hospital last night. He has MS and has been a major proponent of government health care, He is in his late 50's and has been a Pastor for many years and was notorious for his Obama love in this area. I was told by his Wife this morning that he wanted to go home last night and a nurse said she would restrain him. At that point he apparently blew up and said "This is not a FEMA camp" along with "Have you being taking information from the government on how to violate my Constitutional rights?" She said that after he calmed down he started Ron Paul'ing the ER docs.

I don't know what is going on here folks but people are waking up in record numbers and even people we once considered lost are suddenly getting it. A major awakening is happening and people who we have been talking to for years are now going to be coming to us for answers and help. Make sure you welcome them with open arms and lead the way in your community. Be the voice of liberty for those you know. No matter what, never ever stop because we are making progress.

Wow! I am thrilled for you and your success. Sometimes a person must come face to face with liberal socialist regressive policies and big government before the truth smacks them in the face.

BTW, what has happened is an ideological radical socialist of the sixties era had to become president in order to show the people just what "progressivism" will mean for them and our Constitution.


With McCain, Bush, etc. it would always be creeping and more incremental progressivism (regressivism); but with Oblahma, it has been on a bullet train.

"Radical" is a perfectly apt word to describe us, if you understand what it really means.

To be a radical is to get at the root of something; to deal with an issue in a substantive, rather than cursory, manner. Radicalism has been turned into a nasty smear, probably because radical thinkers are dangerous to people in power, but I wear it as a badge of honor. Look up the dictionary definition.

This is more evidence for why I'm not all that worried about totalitarianism's creep. Not even up here where public health care is embraced like a toddler's security blankie.

We are operating with the correct theories of action and reaction - human incentives that create outcomes. Even if people disbelieve us now, they will be confronted with a ceaseless stream of evidence that directly contradicts what they believe will happen under statist control - and corroborates what we think will happen. Cognitive dissonance and a host of other psychological biases can fight this for a time, but not forever. People do change their minds, albeit slowly.
