I got arrested for having mj on a school campus which (according to the officer) is a felony. I got offered a md is I help bust the person who sold to me. I'm only a freshman and have a bright future. I can't afford a felony and it would screw up all of my plans.

What should I do?

Call a lawyer.

EDIT: And don't solicit advise from random people on the internet.

don't buy the hype. they'll plea you out for community service, maybe a little probation.

also, don't be a little bitch and snitch (it won't actually make your life easier, won't reduce the charge nor the punishment the meter out...no matter what the cops say).

qft.

Unfortunately, I know someone who did this and they haunted him for the rest of his life, asking him to catch others by being wired, etc. When he said NO, they made his life absolutely miserable. Don't get started down this trail.

Call you parents. Be honest with them and ask for their help. It will be ok.

Lawyers are the enemy when it comes to the 16th amendment. They created the 16th and misconstrue it intentionally so they can keep their American bar membership.

The rule you mentioned thus doesn't always apply.;):(

"Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats. -- H.L. Mencken"

LOL, what the...

Where did Mencken say this? lol

Tell the Judge that the cop molested you

Hahaha

A few weeks ago in my stupid little town in Missouri, the cops jacked up additional charges on a dope deal. They stacked on charges because the deal went down within x-number of feet from a school. What type of school was it? One was a state university and the other was a private medical school. I think the jacked up charge was a felony.

My rant: The founding fathers would consider stacking redundant charges for the same act to be double jeopardy.
