I am POed. Jeremiah Black TV Ads in iowa dying for lack of funding?

Look, I don't know what exactly is going on here...and I've been trying to find out since Tuesday. But it appears that a lot of awesome ads produced by Jeremiah Black and possibly others are DYING over at operationnh.com due to lack of funding to put them on the air in the early primary states where they COULD make a huge difference (some of these ads are awesome beyond anything HQ appears capable of producing). If this is true then this is tragic. And I, for one, and absolutely outraged.

Would SOMEBODY DO SOMETHING or, at least, assure us of what specifically can be done and is being done with our >$25 Million in date of donations?

We appear to have approximately the most incompetent people possible "running" the campaign funds and being absolutely non responsive to questions about what is being done with the money and what, precisely, is coming down the pike.

Hi Everyone,

Just as a temporary update. Funds are still able to come in through chipin and google donations until early tomorrow morning. I put up a temporary target of midnight to try and hit the 15k. If we hit 20k that would give us intro into more morning tv news shows. Once we get the final numbers we can post the buy and lock in the loadings. We will try then to post back to everyone on the site what the purchase picked up.

Eastern iowa-Targetting Bo Thompson, Something Big, Ad 1-4 Jeremiah. Dependant on support we may drop an ad or reshuffle the buy tomorrow morning if we can not reach 15k. If we do then we will post up the eastern iowa loadings for everyone to see as soon as the buyer sends it to us.

The ads you are talking about, do not belong to the Ron Paul PCC. They are ads were created by the grassroots and we are trying to fund them by the grassroots, so they can be aired.

Sorry, I (and I'm guessing a lot of others) stretched ourselves way past our budget on 12/16, and add to that the fact that I got mugged yesterday to the tune of $60 and still needed to buy Christmas presents, I'm literally down to the most basic expenses that I need to stay alive. I'm sure many other people are in my same predicament, and that's something we're going to have to understand. It's possible the grassroots might no longer be able to afford the extravagancies of blimps and leagues of unofficial tv ads. After stretching our pocketbooks in mid-December, our strength will probably rely on word-of-mouth advertising.

Have you ever tried to ask an intelligent question of headquarters? They appear, to me, to be almost bureaucratic enough and useless enough and clueless enough to work in Washington D.C.

I'm aware a lot is going on, and there is a lot of chaos, and I am but one flea. But none of that cuts the mustard when HQ has plenty of money but can't appear to produce and air effective ads ... while folks like Jeremiah Black and OperationNH are dying for lack of maybe $50k.

Something is *obviously* mighty screwed up at campaign HQ. They need to fire whoever the incompetent is that is "in charge" of orchestrating advertising and put someone like Trevor or any of a hundred others who've moved mountains with pennies in charge.

Not one penny more to the bureaucratically bumbling campaign headquarters. I support Ron Paul and I support my fellow grassroots members; I don't support incompetent mismanagement of funds - and I hope Ron Paul finds out WHO is screwing things up in HQ and asks them, politely (I'm sure more politely than I would) to volunteer or "work" for one of the *other* campaigns.
