they would say the big three did not show up and thus hard core Paul supporters and Democrats tainted the process. Its only a straw poll etc. Of course the new whipping boy would be Romney and Fred would have to jump in. That said, if Iowans can scurry and get 4,500 to 6,000 Paul votes it would be hilarious.

No amount of spin could possibly work. Meetup groups would explode. Donations would explode. Coverage would explode. The more they tried to explain it away with conspiracy, the more crazy they would become and the more well known Dr. Paul and his position would become.
