ERIE,Pa

Hundreds of people coming out to support Republican candidate Ted Cruz.

The line to get in wrapping into the Waldameer parking lot.

The funny part is the first in line to get in was a Democrat.

People coming to hear Cruz speak for many different reasons.

Some say they have supported Cruz from the very beginning, and others say they have recently made the switch to support him.

Overall, many people are happy he chose to speak in Erie saying it shows he is paying attention to the smaller cities.

One local GOP party volunteer was given the chance to ride the Ravine Flyer with the Presidential candidate and says it is something he will never forget.

So, there's hope for the status quo. I hope everyone (all hundreds of 'em) is happy with this happy newz.
I'm ok either way (Trump or Clinton) but I'm purdie sure it won't be Cruz, because of the wonderful things he does.

EDIT:

Oh oh, that's not good.

Only 2,000 showed up for Cruz vs 17,000 for Trump (per comment at the newz site).

Oh my!

Western Pennsylvania is populated mostly by wannabe mid-westerners so it doesn't surprise me that Cruz would have some supporters out there. I highly doubt he'll win here, the eastern part of the state and Pittsburgh tend to run things and they don't go for people like Cruz, partially and sadly because this part of the state is loaded with abortion lovers and libertines, but more so because of the whole cultural divide that Cruz has set between himself and the northeast.
