Sorry for the linking, but check out THIS THREAD on Daily Paul.

We need to bombard the Howard Stern show with comments HERE to get Howard squarely behind him. Howard could be very influential in drawing in better media exposure.

Satellite radio, like the internet, is the Wild West. Ron Paul and Howard Stern could really help one another. Stern is living proof of how government regulations driven by corporate lobbyists kill genuine free market competition. Look how the FCC went after Stern, and he gave them the bird and walked. His show is still hugely popular, and he can help get Ron Paul's message out.

Sure the controversial image of a shock jock and the profanity will not sit well with some Ron Paul supporters, but they should be reaching out to Evangelicals. This is how you get the Independents and the 30 - 40 YO males who right now support "front runners." More people have heard "of" Ron Paul now, but they still don't know who he is or what he stands for.

Exactly. Make a big push for RP on Stern, but we should also try to get him on something equivalent to the 700 Club. I don't think he'd ever get on THE 700 club, as that is Pat Roberton's domain, and he has endorsed Rudy GOOL EE ARGH NEE!

Getting Ron Paul on Howard Stern is a great idea especially since Stern is only available via subscription now.

The target audience will only be subscribers to Stern and the general public will never hear the interview. (Unless someone puts it on the internet... which would probably be a very bad idea.)

Howard Stern is a bit too crude for most folks so it is probably best to keep the interview isolated to the target audience -- which I think could be influenced by an endorsement from Stern.

Howard Stern has a huge following and could be the "Ophra Winfrey" of RP's campaign. Stern loves to talk about issues facing America, FCC, anti-corporate and an interview(s) with Paul would be a big hit for all and quickly reach thousands of Americans over night!

Someone on RP's staff needs to make this happen!

Little known fact...

Howard Stern has a news department, they watch for and investigate issues related to Howard, reporting in news briefs at the top of every hour.

This is perfect for them.

Go to h ttp://www.sirius.com/howard100 and suggest they do a story on Howard and OUR revolution (The Stern Show on Sirius goes by "The Revolution" as well)

I guarantee more discussion of it tomorrow if they get enough mail about it.

If you haven't done so please do.

I just messaged Campaign HQ about this. Let them know that the grassroots demand they act on this! It would be huge to get Ron on Stern's show.

My inclination is that they are probably going to want to stay out of this one... but that's not really the point...

We've only got one more morning for people in NH to turn on Howard and hear what he's got to say. He has serious pull. Send the emails to him and his news team so that they see a blown up inbox in the morning and have to talk about it.

Done.. I even told them Ron Paul would support Gary's right to have smelly Teeth!!

Ca-Ca-Constitution.. Ta-Ta TOOTHY!

What is this offer talked about on the DailyPaul comments? I heard Howard this morning and again on the youtube clip and didn't hear any offer?

***********************(from DailyPaul)******************
I called campaign HQ
On January 7th, 2008 fringeNOT says:

They said that they have heard of the offer from Howard Stern.

The person I talked to (Mike) said that he did not know whether they had responded. Couldn't get any more details.

Told Mike I would post the information that "they know".

The ball is in their court, hope they act on this great opportunity for a wider audience.

I just called the campaign and they said they definitely do know about the Howard Stern comments but the person doesnt know if the HQ has made a decision yet. He said that they mobilizing right now for Jay Leno so I guess after that theyll at least look into it seriously. Until then, no comment.

The campaign worker did say he'd pass the message of getting Paul on the Stern Show and let them know that supporters want to hear it.

Ron Paul advertised heavily on Sirius. This is likely part of the deal.

Stern can help, but not as much as Leno or a strong showing in NH.
