School is starting soon, and we're going to form a PAC. To help get it off of the ground, I was thinking about hiring unpaid interns from the local colleges.

This makes sense for a couple of reasons:

1.) Since their grade is tied to it, they have to be useful and reliable. Otherwise, I'll fail them
2.) It's a great learning experience for somebody who is interested in politics
3.) It's free labor.

What do you guys think? Good idea or totally unrealistic?

Greetings, Karilee,
If the university is publicly funded, students may not be allowed because the work is political. We went down a similar road in TX this past June. However, I did not determine if this was a state issue (state funds) or a federal issue (fed funds). The reg may just apply in TX.

Yours in Liberty,
Dena Turner
