KING: Hillary Clinton offers explanation but no apology about why she called young black kids ‘superpredators’. On Wednesday, Ashley Williams, an activist from Charlotte, N.C., paid $500 to attend a private fundraiser for Hillary Clinton in South Carolina.

Once at the event in Charleston, it was the intention of Williams — in a peaceful, but confrontational protest — to ask Clinton why she called black boys "superpredators" back in 1996 and to seek an apology for her role in promoting mass incarceration.

The crowd, which was almost exclusively white, literally hissed and booed and yelled that Ashley was trespassing. Another person could be heard repeatedly saying, "this is not appropriate."

What is most telling, though, is something that Hillary said while the Secret Service was grabbing Williams and throwing her out of the event. Williams again asked Clinton to explain why she called black children superpredators.

"You know what, nobody's ever asked me before,” Clinton responded. “You're the first person to ask me and I'm happy to address it, but you are the first person to ask me."

Bill Clinton signed into law an omnibus crime bill in 1994 that included the federal "three strikes" provision, mandating life sentences for criminals convicted of a violent felony after two or more prior convictions, including drug crimes. On Wednesday, Clinton acknowledged that policy's role in over-incarceration in an interview with CNN's Christiane Amanpour.

With the Clinton's, all you have to do is follow the money trail. As immigration and incarceration issues become central to the 2016 presidential campaign, lobbyists for two major prison companies are serving as top fundraisers for Hillary Clinton.

Sorry about that. I have to stop watching c-span in the mornings. Almost 95% of the minorities calling in are pro Clinton when the Clinton's have profited dearly from incarcerating minorities.

And this is why dropping in on this forum even though the political wing of the liberty movement is dead at the moment is still worth it. Gems like this. Imagine the outcry if Donald Trump or some other republican called young black children "superpredators." Donald Trump supposedly is a racist simply because he said Mexico was releasing its rapists and murderers and sending them to the U.S. That's not even racist. What Hillary said is. Note I'm not a Trump supporter. He is not a racist but he is a fascist.

I'm black. But what pisses me off more than white people thinking I automatically vote democrat just because I'm black is black people who think I automatically should vote for democrats just because I'm black. I had this conversation just the other day when I was at a friend's house and was unable to contain my disgust for the Hillary Clinton ad that went across the TV. "Oh that's right. You're a republican. Just vote for Donald Trump. White people want their country back. They just want to undue the little Obama was able to do to help people." I gently reminded him that I wasn't a Trump fan, but that I did at least like Trump's idea that we shouldn't be in Syria better than Hillary's ISIS creation program in Libya and Syria. "Oh but all that started with Bush." I replied "Sure. I don't like Bush either. But Obama and Hillary carried on the same agenda. In 2003 General Wesley Clarke disclosed Pentagon plans to invade Libya and Syria. Bush couldn't get it done because he was bogged down in Iraq. So they brought in Obama to carry on the agenda." His response? "Well the president doesn't control anything anyway."

So if a republican does something wrong it's because he's evil and racist. If a democrat does something wrong, it's not his fault because he's not really in control. And yes, many republicans do the same thing in reverse. But good Lord we've got to do something about the hammer lock vice the Democratic community has on the black plantation. Seriously, as provably racist as Hillary Clinton is, she has far more support among blacks than Bernie Sanders. Okay, most blacks out of habit are going to vote democrat because all humans are creatures of habit. It's like most white voting neocon. But why vote for the worst democrat of the bunch? Just because her husband played the saxophone on the Aresnio Hall show and Tony Morrison declared him the "First black president?"

Anyway, as the saying goes, "My people perish for lack of knowledge." I voted for Bill Clinton twice and Al Gore once because I didn't know any better. But guess what? The republicans they were running against sucked just as bad. We all have a lot of work to do. Just walk down the damn street and 99 out of 100 of the people you bass by are clueless idiots like I used to be who think that the government is here to help them but it just has to be "tweaked" right. Most don't realize that the raid to kill Osama Bin Laden was totally staged. Oh, you didn't know that? Look up what Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Seymour Hersh had to say on CNN about it. That came out 6 months ago and I didn't know about it until last week. Why? Because the media is fucking controlled that's why. It's the same reason that we know more about how Donald Trump is supposedly a racist for saying something that he never actually said but we don't know that Hillary Clinton has actually said REAL racist things. It's why most blacks don't know about the actual initiatives Rand Paul has taken that would actually help black people if passed. Seriously, they don't know. They just know he's associated with the Tea Party, said negative things about the Civil Rights Act, and supposedly he's a racist. And uninformed white people, some on this from, think Donald Trump is "standing up against amnesty" when just in the latest GOP debate Donald Trump doubled down on his own amnesty program while claiming it's not amnesty! I don't know how to explain to an uninformed white person that Donald Trump saying "We're going to deport the illegals but let the good ones back in" is actually amnesty so I will leave that to liberty minded white people. I do think the OP article gives me the ammunition I need to explain to an uninformed black person that Hillary Clinton actually is racist. So I'm going to do my part in my own community. Rand Paul would have been the best candidate to beat either of the democratic candidates. I hate how republicans are so stupid that they think their warped primary process actually picks the candidate best able to win in the general election. Donald Trump, Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio would all lose to Bernie Sanders if the election were held today. The cross party polls show this. Trump, Cruz and Rubio all have negatives that are too high to win in the general election unless they are facing someone like Hillary who has even higher negatives.

She didn't call "young black men" "super predators", she was talking about the youth gangs (who, yes, are disproportionately black, though as far as I can tell she made no reference to this) who lack empathy, have no conscience and engage heinous criminal actions. LOL, I voted for Gore and Clinton also. What really is so deeply disturbing to me, is that Bill Clinton used his power to increase criminal sentences and to toss far more people into prison (far majority minorities), only to then profit from the corporate owned prison system. They are just the two most disgusting sob's the world has seen. The private, pay to play prisons has caused this: In October 2013, the incarceration rate of the United States of America was the highest in the world, at 716 per 100,000 of the national population. While the United States represents about 4.4 percent of the world's population, it houses around 22 percent of the world's prisoners.
