Fellow Patriots,

You have two options: take action or sit idly by as government bureaucrats and politicians steal your freedoms.

All I need is 15 minutes of your time. Any time of the day or night call the following Republican State Senators, urging them to vote "no" on Medicaid expansion:

Tom Casperson 517-373-7840
Dave Hildenbrand 517-373-1801
Mark Jansen 517-373-0797
John Pappageorge 517-373-2523
David Robertson 517-373-1636

Why call? Because calling them let's them know there will be political consequences if they vote the wrong way.

When leaving them a voicemail make sure to mention the following:

Voting to force another half million people into a government-run and taxpayer-funded health insurance program goes completely against republican principles.
Expanding Medicaid is needed in order to successfully implement Obamacare in Michigan - so will these Republicans side with Obama or taxpayers?
Expanding Medicaid will increase the federal deficit and debt.
Expanding Medicaid will leave Michigan taxpayers on the hook when the feds won't have money to fund it any longer.
Studies show that being poor and enrolled in Medicaid actually produces worse health outcomes than being poor and uninsured or privately insured. The reason? Medicaid is such a poorly run government program that its patients actually get worse care than the uninsured.
End your message with: If you vote for Medicaid expansion, then don't be surprised if you get primary challenged.
C4L has identified the above as wafflers or not reliable yet to vote no. For the less inclined, just call and tell them you're a republican donor and you oppose the bill. Need all hands on deck as these senators are getting leaned on heavily by the governor who's bought off by insurance companies one of which is Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Help make Michigan impervious to Obamacare implementation. It's your health, money and liberty on the line.

Called. Seems like an easy vote for the "party of limited government". Maybe repost this in General Politics/Activism for more visibility?

We need the calls soon since they might have a vote within the next hour.

EDIT: I heard they're delaying the vote. More time to keep up the pressure. Call!

Tim Skubick interview on WWJ: "Legislators are telling me that the health insurance lobby has about 50 lobbyists here, and the TEA party has about five. And the TEA party is winning."

Yep but MIC4L is the soul entity that is shutting this fucker down. We're using our peeps and allies on district committees all across the state and passing resolutions that will pull endorsements and funding for any senator or rep that crosses the line on this among other things and it's proving to be a top shelf strategy. We're only getting stronger and let this be a lesson for states cross the country that this is how you box out special interests and sic the grassroots and our party officials on these suckers and get our way. Now, they go on vacation and come back to "study" this thing some more, meanwhile our offensive just gets stronger. So, our calls do matter and we're becoming a problem organization for those that want to mess around with our liberties. If we can build our standing in the MIGOP, people can and should do it everywhere. With the right activists and ground game, we hold the line and pull back. NULLIFICATION FTW!

I love Snyder's "Y U NO" rage face in this article:
