KingKhalil. you know nothing about politics ..or anything to do with government. If your going to give your opinion atleast back it up with facts
If you comprehended the most basic things about the market and private property then you'd understand what I'm talking about, since that's not the case, things that should be apparent need "facts" for you.
lol Tell me then. What about our free market?
Our free market needs regulation in order to encourage competition, helloo? If the market isn't heavily regulated and the lower classes helped by the government firms can not only take advantage of the consumers by creating monopolies but also exploit workers who see themselves forced to work on harsh conditions due to the government not offering them viable ways of survival. The private system exists for profit and creating libertarian policies will create an unbalanced society where the rich hold all the power. It also, contrary to popular belief, doesn't advance much. It's market regulation that ensures competition by helping small companies and restricting big ones. What does competition means? Lower prices, commodity, and new products... All the things companies do in order to sell more. The government also makes sure that every individual has a chance to excel without their economic circumstances closing doors for them. This accounts for a society full of workers that are able to provide new products and services for society. Progressive taxes in order to balance out and make sure that everyone pays their respective part to the public. There's also the case of the government taxing you for things you do that affect other people, like with gas emission laws, it pushes out the bad companies with a lot of polution out of the market with heavy taxes and the lighter companies have less of a burden and thus, more profit to invest. The ideal market system is a heavily regulated one, that's how society advances and benefits as a whole... If you want rich elites and foreign companies dictating the suffering of your children (effects of neo liberalism in south America, for example) then that's okay, you can stick to your libertarian doctrine.
