One Georgia-based GOP consultant told POLITICO he expects the fiercely conservative Broun to launch a Senate campaign as soon as January. A spokeswoman for Broun said he hasn’t decided.
“I feel very confident that Paul Broun’s running for U.S. Senate,” said Republican strategist Joel McElhannon, who is already feeling out recruits to run in Broun’s Athens-based 10th District. “You have senior staff quietly calling around for jobs, that’s why I think it’s legitimate.”

The most bandied about name is state Sen. Tom Davis, who spent much of the 2012 cycle traversing the state in support of other legislative candidates.
Davis said he thinks someone needs to “take Graham to task” in a primary to highlight his “fairly egregious public policy positions.”
But he added that he wouldn’t make a decision on a challenge for months because he wants to focus on his legislative work.

DRAFT PAUL BROUN FOR SENATE

DRAFT TOM DAVIS FOR SENATE

Tom Davis was discussed in the bit part about Graham. :)

On a darker note, I also noticed this:

“This movement is all about principles and we’re not going to sell out on our principles,” added Amy Kremer, head of the Tea Party Express, which has backed Republican primary challengers in recent elections.

 Kremer is the same idiot who went 'round the talking head circuit during the primaries saying the Tea Party would support the Republicans nominated, no matter who it turned out to be.

What you don't understand is that her principles involve earning a profit using the TEA Party name. (She has a book out now - just in time for Christmas, naturally.) I see where people get confused though.

I guess there's nothing like a wad of cash for filling the void where principles should have gone.
