"Protecting Children from Internet Pornographers Act of 2011" is the name of the bill.
I implore Ron Paul to take steps to inform the public of the deceptive name of the bill, in that it could be used to collect the Internet viewing habits of law abiding citizens. The bill would also require companies to take the costly steps of storing the I.P. addresses of their customers containing information that the longer it is stored is more vulnerable to hacking and cyber attacks.
Ron Paul, what can be done about the disingenuous titles of bills?
After all, who would vote against the "Do Not Kill Innocent Puppies Act" even though it may include the obliteration of individual liberties? Is it not an injustice for members of Congress to willfully mask the true nature of legislation?
