Brannon is one of our best shots this cycle and he's the real deal.
The CD2 race works out really well for him in the primary. There will be no run-off after the primary and he's running against two sitting congressmen - Ellmers and Holding. Ellmers is the representative from the old CD2 but the district more closely resembles the old 13th district which Holding has represented since 2012. Brannon recently received >27,000 votes in the current CD2 during the senate primary. In 2014 Ellmers won a contested primary with 21k votes (59%) while Holding ran uncontested. In 2012 Holding won 42% of the vote (37K votes) in CD13 with high voter turnout due to the presidential turnout. If Ellmers and Holding split the vote, Brannon can probably win with 40% (15-18K votes) which should be totally doable in this race. But he needs our help.
