It's interesting that the rioters are billed as "opponants of globalization," "antiglobalization groups", and "youths unhappy with globalization...".

Also of note, they seem to be targeting banks, police stations and government buildings.

I just wish we had some independent news sources close to the campfire to tell us what's really going on. I don't trust the media, and I view what they say with a high degree of skepticism. However, the little tidbits they sometimes weave into the story can often shed a little light on what's up across the pond. The "globalization" comments I thought were very interesting.

If anyone has access to independent news sources abroad, don't hesitate to post them.

You need to be real careful about this. Anarchy is a BAD word in America and frightens over 95% of the masses. The controlled media could be trying to tie it to any opposition to the globalist agenda.

You know "anyone opposed to the 'peaceful' one world gov't is just an anarchist!!!" Be vigilant, the MSM is our enemy. Don't believe anything they report that can't be verified by independent sources.

I know most may not believe it, but we are facing dangerous times in the next months, not years, but months. It's not time to shrink away, it's time to be bold for liberty. We can resist by education now. If we lose what liberty we have left we will never regain it without bloodshed.

Raise your voices now while we still can...

Notice what they say in this first article....

The internet played a role in the protests with Greek website protesters updating each other on the locations of clashes and confirming that there had been sympathy protests in nearly 20 countries with more demonstrations planned for Friday in Italy, France and Germany.

Uh oh. While not in the million years will they ever shut-down the greatest persuasion and monitor tool ever developed, but this does possibly garner support for increased monitoring initiatives in order to "prevent" such "anti-globalist" communications.

So they were using Twitter?

I don't think we should assume every protestor, malcontent, or "anti-globalization" type in the world automatically shares the same goals the Ron Paul movement does. For example, a lot of the IMF/World Bank protestors with the firebombs would replace the current iteration of globalization with their own socialistic form of globalization.

The other point is that riots and civil unrest such as this have historically been tools of Communist subversives. I've seen mention of the Greek Communist Party and "Socialist movements" in various news items.
