Got Laid off Today

Oh well... Chalk one more up to this Real Estate Depression...Our company involved in civil engineering and land development in Southern California has gone from 300 to half that amount in 1 year and may disappear entirely....

They have asked me to stay on part-time on contract - but I can see the writing on the wall...This gov't economic policies are leading to a debasement of our money, and comming soon, an economic inflationary depression.....

I may not be posting for a while - have to go find another job - wish me luck guys..

I apologize for any controversial threads..... I think most of you can see past them for my true intentions have been to always help the movement.. I've tried to figure out why I have been involved with this board off and on for so long and I think I've figured it out -

I don't know any of you in person but I consider all of you my brothers and sisters in liberty - thank you from the bottom of my heart - thank you for standing up for freedom, love, peace, the constitution and all the other ideals - many in this country have apparently forgotten - thank you for being there to the bitter end - Good Luck, God Bless!

I worked in Mortgage IT for 3 years and got canned/quit the week after Thanksgiving Holiday.

I would have rebounded by now if not for this fire that burns in me to get Dr. Paul elected.

Not to make it worse, but I'll tell you about a booming business. My ambulance company is booming. Why? Because more people are getting sick and hurt? No. Because we're private, paid by your taxes, so some 32 year old heroin addict can get a ride to and from the methadone clinic. Don't worry, it's not rehab. It's just another form of government control. I pick up the future for the 32 year old, when we take people who are in their late 40's and early 50's who are going to that same clinic and have been going there for decades.

Oh don't worry. They have their treatment, kids, food, clothes, and housing paid for. They all have cellphones, cable TV, and still enough money to continue feeding their habit with the same fucking drug that got them into their "rehab" to begin with.

This unemployment is crazy. I've been unemployed for a long time now. I live in a small, rural town. All the jobs are snatched up and nothing seems to be changing. Businesses are also closing, so things don't look good right now.

Many others have had their disposable income reduced by increased costs of insurance coverage imposed right after New Year's...more money for the insurance companies; less for food and gas.
