Gold coin question

I know gold prices are fluid, but I'm looking to purchase several $5 American Eagle gold coins (1/10th ounce) from a family member but I'm having trouble deciding a fair price to offer. Technically they are uncirculated but they've been handled quite a bit (taken out of their tube to be shown around, have lost some luster). All I can find on the internet and eBay are truly uncirculated ones that still have their luster. And those are going for roughly $110-$130.

I was hoping maybe someone here can offer some pricing advice such a % above spot or % below uncirculated or something along those lines.

Any help would be appreciated. And if you'd rather answer by PM, that is fne, too.

Do you have a coin shop you could take a few to? I'm sure they would not only be willing to tell you how much they would pay for them, but also how much they would sell them for in the shop. Then you can determine a fair price from there.

Right now, there is a place advertising those on CNBC and they are charging $98 a piece plus shipping.

Just thought I would throw that in for what it is worth.

Hmm I remember seeing that ad on TV, but I cannot find their number. Do you have it?

I think they said 1-866-MINT-GOLD
I that would be 1-866-6468-4653

I know the number looks long, but it works.
