**MODS: Move this if it's not in the right spot please**

Tennessee Liberty Alliance vice-president, Glenn Jacobs, is scheduled to be on the Hallerin Hilton Hill morning radio program on Monday, October 24, during the 8:00 am hour. Glenn is a favorite speaker of area liberty-minded groups and is known for his knowledge of Austrian economics and 'all things liberty.' Glenn will be talking about current events. Glenn is also a well known professional wrestler and you probably hear an endorsement for Ron Paul.

The program is airs on News Talk 98.7, WOKI in Knoxville. If you're not in the listening area, you can still listen live via web streaming: http://www.987newstalk.com/article.asp?id=523814. An on-demand Podcast is also available through the station's web site.

Call in numbers to join the conversation are: 865-656-8255 or 800-951-8255

Glenn also interviewed on the Reality Report: http://youtu.be/LsnRpoi2IWY

Also Val Venis is a supporter, and a lot of UFC guys, and bodybuilding/MMA forums have huge support for Ron. Is there a reason for that?

He's a cool guy, I've always been a fan. Didn't he endorse last time? I'm sure he will again.

On a related note, think we could get the McMahon family to endorse? Imagine Ron on WWE? Ron always says we should have fun promoting liberty. :)

Because fighting isn't a team sport. They are rugged individualists mostly, and some of them have made their politics consistent with their fighting life.

There's a popular MMA fighter in Tulsa that supports Ron Paul that I didn't know of before. His name is Mikey Burnett, some may know him, some may not.

Found that interesting.

Fighters seem to have a high number of individualistic and passionate folks. There is also a ton of government intervention that interferes with their lifestyles and decisions.

UFC was outlawed in most states (a trend that is now quickly reversing).
Various drugs / supplements being prohibited by states like steroids (for wrestlers) or enhancements for MMA.
Lump sum contracts and earned bonuses get taxed in huge chunks.

Mikey Burnett was in the early UFCs, and he was on a season of the Ultimate Fighter when they did like a "comeback" season. That dude was tough!

Yea, I looked around to see what season it was (because I remember that) and it was season 4. Just a little fast fact.

UFC also has a large military following. A live endorsement after a fight could be a very good thing.

Glenn is also a brilliant student of austrian economics. He really knows his stuff.

This is his blog:

Although I have never met him in person, I have spoken to him a few times and I know he's involved in political activism locally in Tennessee. He is one of us without any doubt. He's very educated on economics and liberty!

For upcoming money bombs maybe several of us should join those types of forums and promote all we can. I'm sure Joe Rogan lets them know what's up, but probably a lot of the fans don't hear about it. Also I've noticed that it seems that the alternative health crowd doesn't seem to be as active in these money bombs. I remember last time there was some bill that would allow a lot of herbal/dietary supplements and Ron was a big advocate of fighting against it so they jumped on board and helped a lot with those bombs like Dr. Mercola.

he should be ron's next bodyguard. in the big red suit from the wwf, of course. just carry a chair around the whole time, no one will try anything.

I've addressed this other places in the forum in greater length, but I think it mostly comes down to this: Young men who learn to fight or strength train are generally independent alpha males who don't want anyone trying to take care of them or tell them what to do.

The government providing for and protecting everyone on a large scale almost completely eliminates the need for men in our society.
