I have a specific email address I used ONLY for Rand, and got a Ted Cruz email this AM on that address.

What kinda shit is that? Rand's endorsing Televangelist Ted? Selling email lists?

We're running out of time. It's no secret that this race is narrowing down. The next few weeks are historic and critical for us.

Right now, we are one of two candidates who can still win a majority of the delegates and avoid a contested convention, the best possible outcome. That will not happen without your help.

Anything you can give - $5 or more – will help our movement win outright!

It's simple. If we cannot persuade and turn out enough voters, we will end up at a contested convention. The very outcome that would give away this election to Washington establishment politicians and the candidate promising to cut deals with them, Donald Trump.

This campaign is about the conservatives of America uniting to send one of their own to the White House. I am honored to be that candidate – the only conservative candidate left – and I am ready to show the country what conservative principles in action look like.

Ours is the only campaign left that can unite conservatives and beat Donald Trump. We need your help to hit our weekly deadlines and keep up our work in states across the country.

We have come so far together – and we need your help right now. Please give if you can.

For Liberty,

Ted Cruz

I have been getting Cruz's email for weeks months now. If he sold anything, it must have been done at least 10 months ago.

I suspect Campaign for liberty

same.. I got them as early as last September

Bull$#@!.

It was an email I set up SPECIFICALLY for Rand, and did not use it ANYWHERE else. So Rand / randpaul.com is the ONLY place I EVER used it....

And I just got the first Cruz email this AM on it....
Email addresses you voluntarily provide to a campaign get spread out over a huge amount of electronic devices. Any one person leaving the Rand campaign with a thumb drive could give or sell that list so no it is NOT proof Rand sold it.

Hardly indicative of Paul's involvement. I never once signed up to get emails from the Cruz, Rubio, or Fiorina campaigns, and yet I did and still do.

Either sold, or poor data security.

There are programs that track ALL web and post history and then match cross reference all emails and IP address. If you have ANY web presence you will be tracked and categorized and all your email addresses mined.

Then I should be getting the Cruz ads on my other 20 or so addresses. But just got it on this one.

Are you sure you didn't enter that email address at Breitbart.com when voting for Rand in a poll? That is one way to get on Cruz' list..

But ya, there are definitely other ways for your email to get in Cruz' hands that don't involve Rand Paul knowingly selling your email to Cruz himself.

I do not want any junk mail from anyone. Zero. I unsubscribed from Ron and Rand, but I still get stuff from people who are linked to them. I keep unsubscribing. It makes me feel less generous toward candidates.

Of all people, Rand's people should be doing a better job. He made internet privacy a campaign issue. Sorry, but I expect politicians to actually believe and practice what they promise, whether they get elected or not.

I've heard rumblings about this too from several committed liberty supporters. It's shameful but not unexpected news considering how the campaign was run and how grassroots supporters were taken for granted from the start.

Just remove yourself. It only takes a minute.

Good luck with that. There is nothing on God's green earth that I can do to stop my email from being passed around to every political outfit ever associated with the GOP since I signed up to be a state convention delegate a few years back.
