G. Edward Griffin:

Jesse Ventura, who is admired by many for exposing modern conspiracies, reveals his belief in collectivism when he speaks in favor of government healthcare. Now we know why Fox News has put him on TV and is attempting to turn him into a celebrity icon for the freedom movement.

Question: If you believe in any form of governance do you not believe in freedom? My only point is that maybe you should hesitate before you label people as believing wholeheartedly in certain fundamental concepts. If the guy believes in governmental healthcare, just criticize that. No need to throw names that you clearly don't even understand how to use.

And your theory on why Fox News has him on doesn't even make sense.

I love Griffin (Creature from Jekyll Island really opened my eyes) but he tends to be overly paranoid about things at times. There's a much simpler explanation here - Ventura is ignorant about the issue. And it's not like Fox has become his megaphone - Ventura's been on a nonstop media tour for the whole month.

I agree. Bob Chapman is pretty paranoid as well. Ventura is simply ignorant.

"wholeheartedly in certain fundamental concepts."
You mean like the concepts of Individualism v Collectivism?

YouTube - -DVD Version: INTRO - Individualism vs Collectivism

This is a fundamental Position that the rest flow from. A lack of understanding here will cause confusion elsewhere.

Fox news is a propaganda outlet. As are CNN, ABC, NBC and the rest. They are owned and opperated by the same interests and share the same goals.

Ventura has always been a collectivist, it's nothing new.

People need to stop promoting him.

Ventura talks up the importance of constitutional spine but nevertheless can't keep his fingers out of the expansive govt buffet cart. That is nothing new, nor is he alone in that regard, he has plenty of company among people who vocally champion limited govt but can't curb their appetite against temptation when something to their taste is waved beneath their nose.

Jesse has become a pathetic spokesperson for anything. He is obviously ignorant and confused and doesn't even know enough to admit it. The Establishment mainstream media must really love to have him on, to keep the meathead segment of the population following their meathead hero.

Exactly right. Folks need to look at his record and recognize that while he holds some agreeable views and did some good things as Governor, Ron Paul he ain't. Or even Paul Ryan, for that matter.

90% of the things he talks about are extremely important, in fact vital to our understanding of politics. So no, I will not stop promoting him. Sorry.

That doesn't mean I promote his views on socialism. I don't even think he talks about health care or socialism in his book "American Conspiracies"

I disagree with some of Ron Paul's public stances on the 9/11 attacks, does that mean I should stop promoting him?

That has nothing to do with the topic.

Do you think Ventura feels differently about matters like health care in private? Fat chance.

He might make a good Congressman, but a Presidential candidate or some major leader of the "freedom movement"? No way.

He is an ignorant pawn. Exactly why they put him on the air. Just like Sarah Palin, he is controllable.

Edward Griffin is the man, i think what he calls the "illuminati" has another name but he compromises a bit there, sometimes people have to go a little PC to introduce other people to the truth.

Jesse Ventura, for a guy that exposes Dark Conspiracies, he sure gets alot of publicity and exposure...

He is a like Oliver Stone´s "JFK", controlled oposition. Plus i never seen him trying to expose "strange" happenings in the pro-Wrestling world, there were many stories of drugs, steroids, "agressive" homosexuality, blackmail, strange deaths, mafia-like behaviour of the management...etc, coming out of the pro-Wrestling World during the time he was active...

Yep im paranoied but i beleive that in the XXI century paranoia is a must.
