The design creator was just informed:

"We regret to inform you that you will not be a winner of the Finalist prize in the Toyota Racing's Sponsafy Your Ride Contest Round III. You were mistakenly notified of your potential win earlier this week and your entry was not selected to move on to the Finalist Selection Phase."

Which one won? The dad tribute design?

That last round was to make it to the finals, which the FSP car did. Im not sure if they replaced the car with another car or just disqualified and did not replace it. I guess Toyota did not give a detailed explanation.
