Hello, everyone. I am Bryce Nielsen. I am a member of the Free State Project, an effort to prove the effectiveness of liberty and have "Liberty in our Lifetime" by concentrating 20,000 liberty-loving activists into one small-population state and exerting all practical efforts to the creation of a society in which the maximum role of government is understood to be the protection of life, liberty, and property. The state chosen for various reasons is New Hampshire, ranked by a study that has been conducted twice, both times, as the most free state in the country (and New York was the least free, would that surprise anyone?). NH is really ideal for this effort due to various factors such as the accessibility of the state government races, low tax burden, highly decentralized state government, no state sales tax or state income tax, small size enabling people to get together fairly quickly for events, etc. For more reasons (101 total), see freestateproject.org.

Anyway, I am moving to New Hampshire from Utah, with what I call the Liberty Caravan (it was supposed to be a group but that part of my plan hasn't happened - however I am still doing meetups and documenting my trip on www.libertycaravan.org).

I will be passing through upstate New York from September 14 to the 16th.

I have three meetups planned during this time. These are events where anyone who is curious about, wants to learn about, or is a supporter of the Free State Project is welcome to come. I could use some suggestions as to where to hold these events, though I think I know where I want to have the Rochester event, I hope to post locations for all 3 in the next day.

My events are: Buffalo, Sep 14, 7 - 10 pm, location to be determined.
Rochester, Sep 15, 11 am - 1 pm, location to be determined ( I have an idea, though).
Albany, Sep 15, 7 - 10 pm, location to be determined.
I would have done one in Syracuse too but that seemed too many to do in one day.

For anyone who is on Facebook, there are event pages for these:
Buffalo:
Rochester:
Albany:

If you are not on Facebook and want to come, please send me a private message on here or respond to this thread.

The Buffalo event will be at Kostas Greek Restaurant, 1561 Hertel Ave, Buffalo.

The Rochester event will be at Jay's Diner, 2612 W Henrietta Road.

The Albany event location is still under discussion, check back soon.
