This month marks the 100th anniversary of the Federal Reserve Act. This auspicious event is a chance to raise awareness about the Fed and its insidious role in politics and economics.
To help build awareness around this anniversary, I've produced a hip-hop video called “Follow the Money” (http://youtu.be/0BvaCYGybe8). It discusses the Petrodollar Wars and presents historical and economic facts to argue that the vast human suffering and destruction are perpetrated not for noble reasons of freedom or self-defense, but to support that corrupt financial system, serving the greed of a wealthy ruling class.
To spur the national dialog, especially among young adults, I am also sponsoring a writing contest, inviting high school and college students to "Defend Your Rulers" with a short essay that rebuts one or more assertions I present in my video and the description text. I am personally offering $1,000 of my own money, and I’ve launched a crowdfunder (http://igg.me/at/DefendYourRulers) to raise donations, 100% of which will be given away as scholarship prizes.
This provocative video, combined with an academic contest organized by an independent hip-hop artist and sponsored by thousands of independent grassroots supporters, can do a lot to raise awareness and stoke the national dialog.
I’ve posted a link on Reddit/Music (tiny.cc/followonreddit) to spread this message to the broadest possible audience: 3.5 Million people from across the political spectrum.
I appreciate the work you do to inform people and promote Peace and Liberty. I share your passion and ideology, and I’m honored to stand beside you in the fight. I’ve spent hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars on this video because I believe it delivers a compelling message that needs to be heard. Please help me spread these ideas by sharing this through whatever channels you have available.
