FOIA video: Streams of "insurrectionists" being waved into Capitol by police, like tourists

Yea they look really dangerous to me. All being prosecuted as with anyone on "restricted grounds" outside no matter how peaceful.

From American Gulag:

Scores of demonstrators who walked into the building on January 6 are charged with 1512, obstruction of an official proceeding, punishable by a 20-year prison sentence. Many unwittingly broke the law while being waved into the building by police officers.

I am waiting to see the video where someone shot nancy in the head this is a little too dry for me.

So? They still broke the law. Dereliction of duty by the capitol police doesn't magically absolve the tresspassers of their crimes.

Seriously?

Like, dude, this is only a crime when Congress is in session. Right?

Not trespassing, right? Obstruction of an official proceeding, right? You did just read that, right? You can read, right?

And Congress doesn't always publicly set a schedule, or we'd have never heard the term quorum call, right?

And We, the Taxpayers have been paying professional security to keep track of that and keep visitors legal for two freaking centuries of precedent, right?

So what the hell are you on about?

Seems the powers that be, want folks to be afraid to visit the Capitol building.

There is nothing illegal about walking into the Capitol building, especially if the government is inviting you in

Oh what a bunch of horseshit.

If a cop is guiding you and permitting you access, a reasonable person would assume that the activity is legal.

These folks are unjustly persecuted political prisoners.

They all knew they were not supposed to enter the building. The barricades and police in riot gear outside were their first clue. Individual cops deciding to standing down does not justify the actions of these people nor does all of you pretending it was ok. They were all convicted in a court of law.

If a cop stood aside and let you shoot and kill somebody are you now innocent of murder? I don't think so and it's no different.

They aren't political prisoners, they are useful idiots.

False, prove it.

It's a government building in the middle of the day while Congress is in session. Last time I checked that means it's open to the public.

Having a police presence to keep people from acting out is not the same thing as denying entry.

Individual cops deciding to standing down does not justify the actions of these people nor does all of you pretending it was ok.
Uh, when the cops invite people in, that is a good sign that the action is legal to a reasonable person.

They were all convicted in a court of law.
Not even close. They were convicted or took plea deals in kangaroo courts because they could not get a fair trial in that venue nor were they allowed to change venues. I know some of the lawyers involved, and I even know one of the guys currently in prison.

If a cop stood aside and let you shoot and kill somebody are you now innocent of murder? I don't think so and it's no different.
You must lack critical thinking skills if you think that is an actual analogy LOL

They aren't political prisoners, they are useful idiots.
Honestly, a bit of both.

I would think if the cops supplied the gun to the guy who did the shooting, they would bear some culpability.

Paging Eric Holder.
