First Votes Cast In NH - Results Inside

Are they done voting in these town? I don't think so. The article says the voting starts at midnight. Doesn't say when it ends.

I believe that those towns are so small that when every registered voter is done the release the results.

These are two towns which traditionally vote at Midnight. NH law allows towns with less than 100 people to vote at midnight. Polls have closed at both of these locations.

A word of caution, the voters of these two towns do not have a good track record of choosing the eventual winner of the state.

tragic

My local radio station just announced that Ron Paul came in third in these early towns. Maybe the people of NH will realize that Ron Paul really does have a chance.

McCain: 10
Huckabee: 5
Paul: 4
Romney: 3
Giuliani: 1

These are not percentages, they are actual number of votes from 2 towns. They usually pick a non-winner.

wow Ron Paul came in third in Hart's Location and beat Romney!.:D

"Shortly after Dixville Notch, another tiny village, Hart’s Location, offered its results. Obama received nine votes, Clinton received three and Edwards received one. On the Republican side, McCain received six, Huckabee received five, Ron Paul received four and Romney one.

Total vote for both towns together. Ron Paul number 3!!!

The tiny New Hampshire towns of Dixville Notch and Hart’s Location have a tradition of opening and closing their polls right at midnight. They can do this because of the small size of their town and a rule that says a town’s polls may be closed once every possible voter has cast a ballot.

After those first two towns have cast ballots…

John McCain - 10 votes (43%)
Mike Huckabee - 5 votes (22%)
Ron Paul - 4 votes (17%)
Mitt Romney - 3 votes (13%)
Rudy Giuliani - 1 vote (4%)

A word of caution, the voters of these two towns do not have a good track record of choosing the eventual winner of the state.
Then McCain and Obama are toast.
