FEMA Camps in Haiti?

Nah- they are saving the camps for you.

But with the large numbers of buildings destroyed or damaged they will need some sort of temporary housing. Given the state of the country before the quakes, a FEMA camp would be an imporvement on their living conditions for many of them.

Also of interest is that the US embassy in Haiti is the 5th largest in the world, it was finished in 2008 and is on a 10 acre "compound". Why would we build a billion-dollar embassy in Haiti?
